Pulling for Texas
On August 25th, 2017 Hurricane Harvey made landfall along the Middle Texas Coast causing catastrophic damage to the eastern coast of Texas, with the Houston area receiving record-breaking rainfall that resulted in widespread flooding, leaving over 300,000 without power, and displacing over 30,000 residents. With such record rainfall and flooding it is expected that recovery and cleanup efforts will be some of the longest and most costly in the U.S. history. From the moment of landfall relief efforts began across the United States as crews, supplies and other donations began to be collected and shipped south.
CMR Products is committed to assisting in the recovery process by offering these specially decorated benefit box cars. $15 from the sale of each car will be donated to the respective agencies. Purchasing a set of all three cars will up the donation amount to $20 per car. Production cars will be 50′ single door Box Cars from Walthers in HO and Atlas/Trainman in N Scale. Orders will be collected through the ordering period and will go into production as received. These cars will be printed to order, please allow up to 4 weeks for delivery.
